Dr Stuurstraat is a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician and an accredited Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. 

She has experience in complex 
rehabilitation cares for adults on the Sunshine Coast and surrounding regions. 

Rehabilitation areas include:

- Cardiac rehabilitation
- Musculoskeletal
- Orthopaedic 
- Oncology
- Reconditioning
- Falls and balance
